After finishing his masters, specializing in operating systems and networks at the KIT in Germany, Ioannis quickly found his passion in Embedded Software Architecture.
He has designed and implemented several low-power, high-robustness IoT devices that have been deployed in the tens of thousands.
Most of those systems were designed on top of Zephyr RTOS running on NRF52, NRF91, SAMD21 and STM32F7.
The most notable projects consist of mobility solutions (car sharing, smart bicycle lock, smart cabin) and energy solutions (smart grid, car charger).
Outside of work Ioannis has built a modular synthesizer module, a low-cost debugger and is currently busy designing and implementing an open-source software-defined EDA framework.
